Connected Arts Networks (CAN) Project NAfME Teacher Leaders and Teacher Participants

Through the Connected Arts Networks (CAN) project, NAfME is part of a vibrant national network of 484 Teacher Participants taking part in multi-year Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) in music, dance, theater, and visual and media arts. NAfME’s eight PLCs, which will meet virtually monthly starting in January 2024, include 100 PreK-12 music teachers (Teacher Participants) and 15 PreK-12 Teacher Leaders. Two additional music educator Teacher Leaders from the New York City CAN project, who are already leading PLCs at the local level in New York City, are also working with NAfME’s group of music educators.
